Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Illinois to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence. This full-time, on-site role offers meaningful day-to-day support in a mission-driven nonprofit environment.

You will follow individualized care plans, document progress, assist with daily living activities, administer medications as required, and help clients engage with their communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in disability services preferred, but training provided.
• Must meet driving record requirements as specified.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Follow individual care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications per policy.
• Ensure a safe, clean, supportive environment.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some DSP roles may require travel between Residential and Day programs.
