Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Clinton, NC to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. You’ll help clients identify and pursue personal goals, communicate needs, and participate in daily activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or two years in a health-related field preferred.
• CPR, first aid, and optional certifications like NCI/MedTech are a plus.
• Background checks including OIG, Child Abuse Registry, and education verification.

Responsibilities

• Provide opportunities for client choice and independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support goals.
• Implement Individual Support Plans and daily living activities.
• Assist with communication, meal prep, and household tasks.
• Help clients gain valued social roles and healthy habits.
• Distribute medications as trained and document notes.
• Transport clients to day programs, work sites, and activities.
