Job summary

Seven Hills Foundation in Rhode Island is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with disabilities in residential settings. The role focuses on promoting independence and daily living skills while ensuring safety and well being.

You will participate in team plans, document care, and support community integration. Offered per diem shifts at $20/hour, with a comprehensive orientation and CPR/First Aid and other training.

Qualifications

• Patience, consistency and compassion are essential to support individuals with disabilities.
• Standard driver’s license – class C or class D is required.
• CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving and Medication Administration training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist and teach individuals with personal care and activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Support household tasks such as maintenance, laundry, meal prep, shopping and budgeting.
• Provide transportation and accompany individuals to appointments using agency vehicles.
• Administer medications according to residential guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation as part of a multidisciplinary team.
