Job summary

Texas State Technical College (TSTC) seeks an Instructor to deliver approved curriculum in an applied learning environment and mentor students. You will prepare high-quality instruction, develop syllabi, and conduct activities that engage diverse learning styles while upholding TSTC core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service and Integrity.

The role is on-campus for Fall 2026 with evening/ weekend flexibility, and may include recruitment activities, student advisement, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Education and experience requirements are determined by the assigned program.
• Required skills, knowledge, and certifications or licenses are determined by the assigned program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high quality instruction and facilitate the learning of students.
• Develop appropriate course syllabi and instructional plans, and organize daily classes utilizing a variety of creative/innovative techniques.
• Fulfill assigned schedule and maintain accurate student records.
• Collaborate with the Office of Student Success to ensure students receive current information on tutoring and other programs.
