Job summary

USA Triathlon Foundation is seeking a Development Coordinator to support day-to-day nonprofit operations, fundraising, donor engagement, and events from our Colorado Springs headquarters.

The role partners with the Chief Development Officer and Senior Manager to manage donor stewardship, gift processing, Salesforce administration, campaigns, and ambassador activities, while engaging with athletes, volunteers, and partners in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of relevant professional experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, events, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in the Olympic and Paralympic movement and a passion for sport.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends, particularly during peak event season.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage donor acknowledgments, communications, and donor lifecycle activities.
• Support donor engagement campaigns and events, including VIP experiences and donor programs.
• Coordinate fundraising campaigns and donor communications with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain Salesforce donor data, produce reports, and support pledge tracking.
• Assist with on-site event logistics, donor experiences, and volunteer coordination.
