Job summary

Boeing in Colorado Springs is seeking a Software Quality Engineer for a 6-month contract to support the BDS software quality program. The role focuses on ensuring processes, documentation, and supplier interactions meet AS9115/DO-178-style quality standards with emphasis on first-time quality.

Ideal candidates will have a BS in a technical field, 3+ years in software quality and development, and an active U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree as listed (Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry).
• 3+ years’ experience in a project with various software development methodologies.
• 3+ years’ experience in a Software Quality role.
• 3+ years’ experience developing/documenting actions for problem resolution/s preventive actions.
• Active U.S. Security Clearance REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain program-level software quality engineering processes and infrastructure.
• Lead program activities from proposal to verification, certification, and delivery.
• Perform audits to verify lifecycle activities and conformance to standards.
• Plan software quality test activities and ensure test readiness.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and other functions on software delivery criteria.
