Fort Worth ISD is seeking a Teacher - Special Education: Deaf to provide direct instruction to hearing impaired students and support their educational progress.

You will develop IEPs, teach communication skills and written language, and educate parents about deafness and its impact. The role requires collaboration with other professionals and maintenance of confidential records in a grant-funded, 187-duty-day program.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required for teaching license.
• Certification in Deaf/Hearing Impaired endorsed by Texas is required.
• Experience with deaf and hard-of-hearing students preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develops IEPs for deaf or hard-of-hearing students.
• Instructs in communication and written language.
• Educates parents on deafness and educational impact.
• Instructs in use of adaptive equipment.
• Maintains confidential student records.
• Participates in staff development.
