Job summary

New Roads Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated role model to mentor clients and lead group activities focused on real-life skills. You will support young adults on their path to independence, driving to outings and coordinating daily care in a safe, structured environment.

The position runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, with a transition to salary after 90 days. Prior caregiving or mental health experience is preferred, and CPR/First Aid certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Caregiving or mental health experience preferred (not required).
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Be a positive role model and mentor for clients.
• Lead groups, activities, and real-life skill building.
• Support clients through challenges and growth moments.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
• Drive clients to appointments, outings, and activities.
• Work closely with a team that truly cares.
