Job summary

The Center for Disability Services is hiring Day Program Counselors to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Capital Region and North Country. Roles offer onsite day services with engaging activities and community outings.

Paid on-the-job training provided; no prior experience required. Opportunities for both part-time and full-time schedules, with a comprehensive benefits package and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; NYS Driver's License in good standing.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support and encourage independence in all aspects of daily life.
• Collaborate with your team to plan, create and assist with activities and opportunities to meet the needs and interests of the people you support.
• Provide any necessary direct personal care to the people we support.

Compensation Range:

$18.15 - $19.25
