Responsibilities

• Reports to the main office for room assignment upon arrival and checks out in the main office at the end of the day.
• Arrives at building with time to review substitute plans and be prepared for the day.
• Implements the instructional plans prepared by the teacher.
• Communicates expectations and adapts to individual learning needs, providing instruction.
• Follows safety precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Provides feedback to the teacher regarding instruction and day’s events.
• Maintains a professional rapport with parents, coworkers, and administration.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or higher

60 semester hours for short-term sub license
