Job summary

Qualifications

Applicants must hold at least one ISBE license: Professional Educator License (PEL) or Substitute License (SUB).
License must be registered in Kane County.

Responsibilities

Arrives at the building at the start of the school day, reviews substitute plans, and is prepared for the day.
Deliver lesson plans and take daily attendance as instructed by the regular teacher/administration.
Ensure safety and wellbeing of all students and respond to emergencies following safety precautions.
Maintain professional rapport with students, staff, and administrators and manage classroom conduct.
Provide instruction and adapt to individual learning needs; implement assistive technology where appropriate.
Participate in professional development sessions and perform related duties as assigned.
