Job summary

The 21st Judicial Circuit Court seeks a Circuit Clerk to guide administrative, operational, and clerical functions across civil, criminal, and family divisions, ensuring accurate records and compliant processing. You will oversee a large team of state and county employees and shape procedures for efficient court operations.

You will develop personnel policies, manage the operational budget, and supervise the assessment and collection of court fees, serving as a liaison to county and state

• Experience in court administration and records management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and manage professional, administrative, operational and clerical support and services for all County Court Divisions and Departments, including civil and criminal jury trials, equity actions, traffic, municipal, and probate matters, family court matters, associate civil, small claims matters, and receptionist services.
• Oversee safeguarding of court records and ensure compliance with statutory and court requirements.
• Direct budget preparation and financial stewardship for court operations; assess and collect court fees and costs.
