The Armenian Bar is seeking a County Attorney to represent and advise county departments, boards and commissions on complex legal matters, draft legal documents, and oversee a broad civil docket. You will handle complex litigation spanning torts, contracts, zoning, labor and juvenile dependency issues.

You will also supervise external counsel, collaborate with county offices to draft legislation and amendments to state and county codes, and help guide policy through litigation and advisory work.

Qualificações

• Two years of public agency law practice or civil law experience in areas such as probate, contracts, healthcare, employment, workers’ compensation, real property, environmental, land use, litigation, intellectual property, or child dependency proceedings.

Responsabilidades

• Represent and advise County departments, boards, commissions, and other governmental bodies on complex legal matters; prepare legal documents.
• Represent the County in complex litigation involving tort liability, contracts, regulatory actions, zoning, labor, workers’ compensation, probate, or juvenile dependency.
• Work with County departments to draft and pursue legislation, ordinances, and amendments to State and County codes.
• Supervise external counsel on assigned cases, including procedural matters and trial strategies.
