Job summary

Parents Anonymous® Inc. is seeking a Counselor & Group Facilitator to support the Community and Family Resource Center. The role conducts outreach, promotes well-being, and facilitates weekly Parent, Children & Youth Groups with model fidelity.

Responsibilities include documenting data daily, coordinating with partners, and ensuring crisis safety protocols. A PA leadership context and community trust are central to success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, MFT, Psychology or Counseling.
• 3–5 years of clinical mental health or social services experience.
• Active and valid licensure/registration with the BBS.
• Bilingual in English and other languages spoken in Supervisorial District One.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Must work two evenings per week and some weekends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office; familiarity with databases or PM software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach and mental health educational events.
• Facilitate weekly Parents Anonymous® Parent, Children & Youth Groups with model fidelity.
• Document data daily into the program tracking system.
• Maintain Crisis Protocol and coordinate with leadership on crises.
• Coordinate and support Adult and Youth Group facilitators.
• Identify, train, and foster development of Parent Group Leaders.
• Text/email group participants with information and track attendance.
