Job summary

Parents Anonymous Inc. seeks a compassionate Helpline Counselor with a Master's degree in Social Work, MFT, Psychology, or Counseling and active BBS registration. You will deliver evidence-based programs to diverse parents, children, and youth via CA or National Helpline channels, using empathetic, trauma-informed approaches and crisis intervention.

Training and supervision are provided. The role requires weekend work, full-time hours, and flexibility to meet needs while upholding

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field required.
• Active registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) with 1,000 hours toward license.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed emotional support via calls, texts, and live chats.
• Respond to crises including suicidal ideation with supervisor support.
• Document interactions and outcomes in the assigned database.
• Engage in outreach to increase program participation.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies and procedures.
