Job summary

PureHealth seeks a qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide OT services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, following PureHealth policies and state and federal regulations.

You will assist with patient assessments, contribute to treatment plans, document progress notes, educate patients and families, and coordinate care with the health team, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and adapting care across units.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited COTA program.
• Minimum 1 year of COTA experience.
• Valid State COTA license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inpatient/outpatient assessments as directed.
• Provide therapy interventions under supervision.
• Document charges, progress notes, and reports accurately.
• Educate patients and families as appropriate.
• Coordinate care and discharge planning with the health team.
