Job summary

Sunrise Group in Wisconsin is seeking a compassionate Direct Support worker to prepare and serve nutritious meals in compliance with dietary guidelines and regulations. The role requires a valid driver's license, background and drug screenings, and at least one year in food service.

You will follow safe food handling, assist with meal prep, and perform other duties as assigned. Sunrise offers benefits and a supportive, not-for-profit environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum one year of experience working in the food service industry

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves nutritious meals according to individual's diet and textures requirements, while following established dietary guidelines and regulatory procedures
• Completes daily tasks following all safe food handling and food preparation guidelines regarding thawing, timing, cooking, holding, labeling, and storage
• Performs all other duties as assigned
