Job summary

CommQuest Services Inc. seeks a Cook/Kitchen Assistant at the Massillon Recovery Campus to manage meal preparation, service, dishwashing, and overall kitchen operations. The role supports residents, staff, and visitors while following nutritional and budget standards.

You will work with a dedicated team, share CommQuest's mission, and contribute to positive outcomes in a community-focused setting, with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen or for large groups preferred.
• Able to follow a set menu and account for inventory.
• Willing to receive training and certification through Massillon Health Department.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare meals for residents, staff and visitors per menus and budgets.
• Provide meals for residents working or attending school outside the house.
• Assist with food preparation and work therapy in kitchen and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized kitchen including dishwashing and dining operations.
• All other duties as assigned.
