Job summary
Toyota Automated Logistics seeks a Controls Applications Engineer to estimate multiple controls project opportunities, spanning concept to on-site installation and debug. You will cost engineer solutions, develop new controls processes, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver world-class distribution and production systems.
Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor or Master of Engineering with 2+ years of PLC programming, panel design, and project management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering or Master’s preferred.
- 2+ years of PLC programming, panel design, and controls project management.
- Strong computer literacy with MS Office; AutoCAD experience.
- Ignition SCADA experience preferred; machine control electrical design and troubleshooting.
- Eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Estimate and quote projects meeting customer expectations.
- Develop accurate project schedules and costing estimates.
- Support engineering sales with client integration experience.
- Lead internal teams to cost engineer entire systems.
- Collaborate across disciplines for successful project delivery.
- Establish relationships with suppliers and develop new controls techniques.
- Travel up to 10% for on-site support and installations.
