FNBO is seeking an Internal Auditor II - Compliance in Omaha. The role focuses on timely audit execution, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance within a collaborative, hybrid team.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 2+ years in banking or financial compliance auditing. CIA/CRCM/CAMS are desirable. Compensation ranges with base pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related degree.
• 2+ years of compliance audit or compliance management experience with a bank or financial institution.
• Securities Trading, Wealth Management, or Non-Consumer Banking related compliance experience would not be considered applicable.

Responsibilities

• Audit Oversight and Consulting: maintain knowledge of banking laws and best practices and provide audit consulting services to FNBO/FNNI.
• Audit Execution: assist in planning, perform fieldwork, and wrap-up by reporting results with clear root-ccause analysis and recommended fixes.
• Risk Assessment: aid in updating audit universe assessments with senior staff.
• Compliance: understand and adhere to bank policies, laws, and the BSA/AML program; report violations and suspicious activity.
• Professionalism/Attendance: build partner relationships and pursue development through certifications and cross-training.
