Job summary

Sheppard Pratt is seeking a direct-care professional for Community Employment Program services to assist individuals with disabilities in gaining and maintaining employment in their communities. The role involves on-the-job training, assessment, and ongoing support.

The position is full-time, on-site in Frederick, MD with a flat pay rate of $21.37/hr. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, 403b retirement match, generous PTO, and EAP support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years of experience in the human services field.
• Experience in performing supported employment activities including identifying and negotiating potential jobs for clients.
• Driver's license with 3 points or less and access to an insured vehicle.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in obtaining and maintaining meaningful employment in their communities.
• Engage in assessment, job search, and job development with individuals served.
• Provide job coaching and advocate with employers to place clients successfully.
