Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Commercial Roofing Project Manager in Kansas City, MO to lead projects from start to finish, coordinating with superintendents, foremen, and clients. You will manage project schedules, contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and cost tracking to ensure on-time delivery and budgeted margins.

Proficiency in Bluebeam and MS Office (MS Project) is required. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in Commercial Roofing project management.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and MS Office (MS Project).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Own project from start to finish.
• Pre-plan execution with Superintendent and develop schedule.
• Manage contracts and ensure language matches estimates.
• Prepare project binder for Superintendent and Foreman.
• Produce, manage, and track submittals.
• Write RFIs and coordinate client communications.
• Participate in jobsite walks and meetings with clients and Superintendents.
• Document, track, and create change orders to ensure payment for extra work.
• Negotiate change orders with clients.
• Track and manage costs on projects; achieve budgeted profit margins.
• Update and maintain an accurate project forecast.
