Job summary

Weaver Companies, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator to develop cost estimates for assigned commercial projects, including special projects and facility maintenance.

You will review documents, analyze bids, perform quantity take-offs, and craft clear proposals for clients and sales leads. The role requires strong time management, problem solving, and communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Sage 300.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently prepare accurate estimates and proposals.
• Prepare cost analysis by reviewing materials, labor, equipment, subs and overhead.
• Create proposals and work scope for special projects and maintenance.
• Review construction documents, plans, drawings and contracts.
• Receive and analyze bids from subcontractors.
• Execute quantity take-offs from documents.
• Develop approximations when standards are unavailable.
• Incorporate building codes and permitting into estimation.
• Research current pricing for identified materials.
• Maintain resource information on products, vendors and township rules.
• Lead handoff meetings with the production team.
