Job summary

Horizon House, Inc. in Milton, Delaware is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Residential Group Home team. The role offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts across day, evening, and overnight blocks to support participants in achieving independence.

You will provide direct care, promote safety and recovery, assist with daily living activities, and help develop individual recovery plans, while maintaining clear communication with staff and participants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with Delaware CNA certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to respond to disruptive behavior and support daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision in the residential group home.
• Ensure a safe, recovery-oriented environment and promote growth.
• Facilitate independence in self-care, daily living, socialization, and community integration.
• Participate in development and implementation of recovery plans.
