Job summary

Horizon House, Inc. seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Residential Group Home team at New Castle County, Delaware. The position is part-time with 16 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, including weekends, on-site in Wilmington. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and current Delaware CNA certification, plus strong communication and ADL support abilities to help participants achieve greater independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Delaware.
• Ability to respond to disruptive behavior and maintain safety.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to assist with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to participants in the residential group home setting.
• Ensure a safe, healthy, secure, recovery-oriented environment.
• Facilitate growth toward independence in self-care, daily living, socialization, and community integration.
• Participate in developing and implementing participants’ recovery plans.
