The role partners with school staff to design programs, with grant funding through June 2027 and potential for permanent employment. Requires an Associate's degree, strong data skills, and effective communication; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Ability to accurately compile, analyze, and present statistical reports and data.
• Ability to organize work, set priorities, manage time effectively, and complete duties with minimal supervision.
• Ability to design programs and partnerships, and develop services.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual and small groups of students on career exploration using Naviance and individualized career counseling to identify CCR pathways.
• Connect high school students to employment and apprenticeship opportunities in collaboration with the Apprenticeship Coordinator and WCPS staff.
• Assist with career development activities such as college tours, technical school visits, job-embedded field trips, and career/college fairs.
• Advise students on apprenticeship and career pathways leading to credentials, education, training, and work experience.
• Collaborate with counselors and intervention staff to support post-secondary education and career interests.
• Assist with apprenticeship monitoring and site visits; travel may be required and reimbursed per WCPS policy.
• Promote and track student service learning opportunities and expectations.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical behavior toward students as expected of licensed teachers.
• Demonstrate courteous and professional demeanor to all stakeholders.
