You will coordinate external referrals, authorizations, and transportation while aligning with care plans and regulatory timeframes.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in medical scheduling, EMR experience, and strong English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years in medical scheduling or healthcare administration.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with excellent multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule medical, dental, therapy, and specialty appointments.
• Coordinate external referrals, authorizations, and transportation.
• Organize new participant orientations and initial assessments.
• Manage scheduling across care settings to minimize conflicts.
• Collaborate with Transportation, Home Care, Medical Records, and Clinic teams.
• Serve as liaison between Senior Center Manager, Clinic Staff, Medical Records, and Transportation Coordinators.
• Place confirmation calls and ensure participants have necessary details.
• Handle urgent scheduling requests and maintain accurate EMR documentation.
