Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a CAD Designer to join our engineering team in Ohio. You will create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, generate bills of materials, and maintain product data within our PLM and ERP systems, collaborating with engineers and manufacturing.

Attention to accuracy and drafting standards is essential. The ideal candidate has an associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and hands-on CAD experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology is required or equivalent.
• Experience using CAD to create 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Familiarity with PLM/ERP data management and BOM entry.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical drawings, schematics, and documents from engineer designs.
• Generate 2D drawings and 3D models of components and assemblies.
• Enter bills of materials and maintain product data in PLM/ERP systems.
• Support manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams with accurate drawings and revisions.
