Job summary

CGI is seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst in Arlington, VA, to join a collaborative IT delivery team. You will design, develop, and execute solutions to improve IT products and services for US federal clients, with emphasis on agile delivery and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, mentoring junior teammates, and the ability to manage multiple work streams within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in CS/IS/IT or related fields.
• 3+ years of relevant experience (BA, software support) incl. Momentum ERP.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL, Python, Java, HTML or CSS.
• Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and manage multiple work streams.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality IT end-user support and document resolutions.
• Analyze client needs and translate to executable tasks for cross-functional teams.
• Follow SDLC/change management to implement new functionality and fixes.
• Create/test plans, documentation, and user guides for new or existing systems.
• Demonstrate technical capabilities and support multiple work streams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and team problem solving.
• Translate business requirements into actionable work for teams.
