Job summary

CGI is seeking a mid-level business analyst to join a high performing Agile team in designing and building services based web applications for a large government agency. A hybrid working model is acceptable and the role is located in Fairfax, VA.

The ideal candidate will drive quality solutions by translating business needs into detailed requirements and UI designs, participate in the full SDLC, and support testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with team members, customers, partners, and management.
• Work with customers to understand the software ecosystem and drive quality solutions.
• Participate in the full SDLC on the Agile scrum team.
• Translate business needs into detailed requirements and UI designs for new capabilities and enhancements.
• Support testing with test plans, test cases, and defect management.
• Triage help desk tickets, troubleshoot issues, and create training materials.
• Analyze data to identify problems, trends, or opportunities for improvements.
• Contribute to planning sessions to curate the development backlog and roadmaps.
• Create SOPs, security assessments, and monthly/quarterly analysis reports.
• Ensure compliance and obtain necessary approvals throughout the lifecycle.
