Job summary

Red White & Blue Thrift Store is seeking a Donation Pickup Driver in New Jersey. You will drive a box truck to collect donated items, interact professionally with donors, and ensure items are safely loaded and transported to the warehouse or designated location.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and the stamina to work in various weather conditions. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to operate a box truck safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations for large vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and follow a schedule.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate pickup routes.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a donation pickup vehicle, following all traffic rules and regulations.
• Follow pickup routes efficiently to maximize donations and minimize travel time.
• Communicate with donors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Load and unload donated items into the pickup vehicle.
• Ensure items are handled with care and securely packed for transport.
