Job summary

Solterra School is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) dedicated to helping students with autism reach their fullest potential. You’ll work directly with students and partner with BCBAs, teachers, OTs, and SLPs to implement behavior plans and track progress.

Building hours are 7:30am–7:30pm with school 8:00am–2:30pm and after-care 2:30pm–7:00pm; compensation ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, reflecting responsibilities, qualifications, and market conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and willingness to complete required training.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• RBT certification.
• Ability to move and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Successful completion of safety care course.
• Physical activity requirements such as walking, jogging, running, lifting, and standing on feet for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students during school and after-school hours as needed.
• Implement individualized behavior and skill-building plans.
• Help students build communication, social, academic, and life skills.
• Collect data and document student progress.
• Use positive, compassionate strategies to support student behavior and regulation.
• Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
• Work as part of a collaborative clinical and educational team.
• Participate in training, coaching, and professional development
