Job summary

Amity Foundation in Wasco, California seeks an Associate Program Director (ISUDT) to support the Program Director and supervise Supervising Counselor(s) on-site. This role focuses on overseeing daily activities, coordinating training, and ensuring compliance with AOD treatment standards.

The position requires AOD Counselor certification, three years of experience, strong interpersonal and writing skills, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Access.

Qualifications

• Certified as an AOD Counselor with an organization approved by the DHCS.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a certified AOD Counselor.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and contracted staff.
• Excellent interpersonal, written communications and typing skills; MS Word, Excel, and Access proficiency.
• Knowledge of ISUDTP contractual requirements.
• Ability to develop a treatment alliance with participants and maintain professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Be on-site during programming hours and oversee day-to-day program activities in the absence of the Program Director.
• Provide oversight, training, and support to Supervising Counselor(s).
• Coordinate monthly reports documenting counseling staff progress toward AOD certification.
• Coordinate monthly staff training days with Supervising Counselor(s).
• Support the Program Director as requested.
• Work with CDCR/CCHCS and contracted staff.
