Job summary

Richard Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Huntington, WV to lead day-to-day project activities, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate stakeholders to ensure timely, on-budget project delivery. You will navigate complex federal and healthcare projects, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and 5–10 years in hard-bid general contracting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 5-10 years' experience with a hard-bid general contracting company.
• Thorough understanding of construction materials, means, methods and building systems.
• Experience in federal sector projects.
• Experience in healthcare projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Supervise project start up, project completion, punch list identification and entire close-out process.
• Provide leadership for controls including costs, planning, scheduling, engineering, supervision and personnel management.
• Communicate and coordinate with all project team members to maintain schedule, safety, budget and quality control.
