Job summary

Richard, a leading general contractor, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Beckley, WV. You will act as day-to-day project leader, coordinating across stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding quality and safety standards.

You’ll support project controls, schedule development, and correspondence with owners and subcontractors, under the guidance of the Program Manager. A strong background in construction management and federal/healthcare projects is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years’ experience with a hard-bid general contracting company.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, means, methods and systems.
• Experience in federal and healthcare projects is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office, Bluebeam and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project management for assigned projects.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and quality to meet client expectations.
• Coordinate with home office, owners, and subs to resolve issues.
• Develop and review schedules, RFIs, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, safety, and regulations.
