Job summary

Northeast Arc in Beverly, MA is seeking a full-time Assistant Program Director to join our Residential team at one of our Beverly homes. The role supports individuals in daily living and community participation.

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Pay rate: $24.50 to $25.00 with MAPs. You will oversee day-to-day home operations, provide hands-on support, training, documentation, and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required. Associates or Bachelor's in a relevant field of study strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in a direct support role working with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication skills and computer proficiency required.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support at the home, including transferring, bathing and grooming, following dining protocols.
• Document accurately and thoroughly in Health Records and Logs per policy.
• Facilitate meaningful community experiences to foster skill acquisition and independence.
• Support growth by helping individuals learn new skills and increase independence.
• Participate in supervision, staff meetings, QAs and trainings as needed.
• Ensure staff trainings; assist in training DSPs on house systems and individual needs on-site.
• Administer medications according to Northeast Arc Policies and MAPs Regulations.
• Support doctors appointments, ER/hospital visits and on-call nursing appropriately.
• Maintain the home and agency vehicles through seasonal maintenance and reporting issues.
• Complete ISP documentation and incident reporting per policies and funding regulations.
• Maintain and review records for bank accounts; assist with Rep Payee and entitlement paperwork.
• Provide crisis intervention and report critical issues immediately.
