Job summary

Jacksonville University is hiring an Assistant Coach for Men’s Rowing to support the Head Coach in every aspect of a Division I program. Responsibilities include coordinating team travel, managing game-day personnel, and driving recruiting efforts to attract student-athletes who excel academically and athletically.

The role requires adherence to NCAA rules, strong leadership of graduate assistants and interns, and collaboration with athletics administration.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NCAA Rules and Regulations.
• Mastery of sport coached.
• Ability to lead, guide and direct graduate assistants, interns and student-athletes.
• Willingness to form relationships with constituents and help fundraise.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling all competition.
• Coordinate recruiting activities and paperwork.
• Assist with NCAA compliance and calendar management.
• Assist in budget planning and travel arrangements.
• Support academics and study hall policies across teams.
• Assist fundraising activities for the department.
• Complete all required NCAA and departmental paperwork on time.
