Job summary

Crowe is seeking an AML and Sanctions Audit Consultant (Temporary) in New Jersey. You will work in our Regulatory Compliance Financial Crime practice, applying AML and BSA expertise to conduct independent testing and internal audits for banks, MSBs, fintechs, broker/dealers, and asset managers.

The role emphasizes data-driven testing, coordination with multiple lines of defense, and strong communication with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required for consideration.
• 3+ years of experience in BSA/AML consulting/advisory, bank internal audit, or compliance testing.
• Certifications such as CAMS, CIA, CISA or similar are preferred.
• Proficiency with AML/BSA regulatory requirements for retail banking activities, products, and services.
• Understanding of banking regulations and supervisory expectations for large financial institutions.
• Knowledge of statistical analytics and testing methods.
• Experience in a project environment with top 50 banks.
• Experience in a professional services or project-based environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel up to 5% if requested for projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, audit, and monitor compliance of BSA/ AML requirements for financial institutions.
• Execute across all audit phases: planning, walkthroughs, test procedures, artifacts, and reporting.
• Submit reports of audit results to senior management and audit committees with findings and actions.
• Build and manage relationships with Business Lines across all three lines of defense.
