Job summary

Crowe is seeking an AML and Sanctions Audit Consultant (Temporary) to join our Regulatory Compliance Financial Crime practice in the United States. You will work with a range of professionals to apply cutting-edge AML and BSA best practices and support internal audit engagements for financial institutions of various sizes.

The role emphasizes testing, control design and documentation, with opportunities to interact with senior management and cross-functional teams across lines of defense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 3+ years of experience in BSA/AML consulting/advisory, bank internal audit, or compliance testing.
• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (CAMS), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Analyst (CISA) or other relevant certification preferred.
• Proficiency with AML/BSA regulatory requirements for retail banking activities, products and services.
• Understanding of banking regulations and supervisory expectations for large financial institutions.
• Knowledge and practical use of statistical analytics and testing methods.
• Experience in a project environment with top 50 banks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, audit, and monitor compliance of BSA/ AML requirements for financial institutions of all sizes.
• Execute across all phases of an audit, including planning, testing, reporting to management and audit committees.
• Submit written or oral reports of audit results including findings, analysis and conclusions.
• Build and manage relationships with Business Lines across all three lines of defense.
