Job summary

Asset Living in Charleston, SC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to handle leasing, marketing, and resident relations for affordable housing properties.

You will greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours, prepare leases, and maintain leasing data while supporting retention programs and on-site operations.

Experience with LIHTC, HUD, and related programs is preferred; high school diploma required; on-site attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, etc.).
• Property leasing and administration experience.
• Regular on-site attendance required.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; sign leases.
• Complete leasing paperwork before move-in.
• Assist with lease audits, unit walks and turnover.
• Maintain accurate lead traffic and respond within 24 hours.
• Support marketing plans to increase traffic and achieve leasing goals.
• Handle resident complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in resident retention programs.
• Maintain office and model cleanliness.
• Review market surveys to improve plans.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Greet, qualify, and tour prospects; present community features.
• Process leasing paperwork and coordinate move-ins.
• Maintain leasing data and respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
• Support marketing initiatives to drive property traffic and leasing outcomes.
