Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with four years of law enforcement or military service, or equivalent.
• Associate degree with two years of professional work experience or law enforcement/military service.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Investigate abuse, neglect, self-neglect, and financial exploitation of vulnerable adults.
• Assess safety and mental capacity within 24 hours of receiving a report.
• Coordinate emergency services, medical evaluations, and court interventions when needed.
• Gather information through interviews, records, and prior APS involvement.
• Collaborate with state agencies, law enforcement, and prosecutors to deliver justice.
