Job summary

Maysville Community & Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty- Clinical Nursing Instructor to facilitate clinical learning experiences for nursing students in approved healthcare facilities. The instructor will provide hands-on supervision, apply the nursing process and clinical judgement, assess student performance, and deliver timely feedback to promote student success.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing required.
Two years RN experience in the last five years preferred.
Current active RN license in Kentucky or eligibility to practice in Kentucky.
Drug screen may be required for clinical facilities.
Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on clinical instruction and supervision for nursing students in clinical settings.
Facilitate learning experiences using the nursing process and clinical judgement.
Assess and provide timely feedback on student performance to promote success.
Develop clinical reasoning, professional identity, and communication skills.
Complete weekly clinical evaluations and participate in course meetings and site orientation.
