Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking an Activity Therapy Coordinator for Navidad Medical Center in California. This part-time role focuses on assessing patient needs, planning and delivering activities, and documenting progress within the treatment framework.

You will collaborate with therapists and physicians to adjust plans, ensure safety, and provide care aligned with the patient’s developmental and cultural needs. Strong communication and CPR CPI readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or related field.
• Experience in psychiatric health care setting preferred.
• CPR certification and CPI training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs for group activities and individual therapies.
• Document progress and adjust treatment plans with the care team.
• Develop and implement plans of care with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy sessions according to treatment orders and plan.
