Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and active New York State Teacher Certification required.
• Waivers available for applicants with other state credentials who are in the process of certification.
• Valid New York State Driver's License required.
• Compensation based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare lesson plans; administer and correct tests.
• Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet diverse learners.
• Recommend curriculum changes and supplemental materials.
• Mentor students to promote academic excellence and lifelong learning.
• Coordinate with staff to resolve training-related issues.
• Record daily attendance and maintain student folders.
• Provide classroom management and behavioral guidance.
