Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time 5th grade co-teacher in special education near Oak Park, IL. You will collaborate with a general education teacher to deliver inclusive instruction, implement IEP-based accommodations, and support 6–7 students on an elementary caseload.

You will maintain progress records, participate in IEP meetings, and communicate with families to promote student success in a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Valid PEL LBS1 credential required.
• Experience teaching special education at elementary level preferred.
• Strong collaboration with general education teachers and support staff.
• Ability to create and implement differentiated instruction plans addressing IEP goals.
• Commitment to an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Co-teach with a general education teacher in a 5th grade classroom.
• Deliver accommodations and modifications based on individual student IEPs.
• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings.
• Communicate regularly with families and team members to ensure student success.
