Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 12 credit hours or six months of related experience.
• Minimum 2.75 GPA or equivalent professional achievement.
• Experience delivering information, training, or education to groups or individuals.
• Leadership experience in supervisory or informal roles.
• Must have access to a personal vehicle and the ability to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive 4H youth development program in Wyandotte County.
• Supervise one Wyandotte County 4H staff member.
• Share responsibility for community vitality programming to strengthen local communities.
• Identify local needs and emerging issues related to KState Extension's five critical areas and engage with partners.
• Design educational strategies and align them with the Next-Gen Strategic Plan.
• Recruit and manage volunteers to extend reach and impact.
• Develop strategies to serve all community audiences and communicate program impact.
