Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
• Technical competence in the subject matter and ability to apply knowledge to problems.
• Understanding of youth and adult learning processes.
• Knowledge of a variety of teaching methods for effective learning.
• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Three or more years of teaching/research experience in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Implements educational programs addressing Brooks County needs.
• Supports implementation of programs led by others.
• Identifies, recruits, and trains local volunteer leaders.
• Utilizes various teaching methods and materials.
• Plans, coordinates, and evaluates educational programs.
• Maintains communications with PVAMU staff and county offices.
• Prepares monthly, annual, and special program reports.
