• Promotes a safe classroom with individualized and small group instruction; supports learning.
• Develops lesson plans and translates them into learning experiences for efficient use of instructional time.
• Maintains accurate records of student activities, achievement and attendance per district rules.
• Ensures student conduct aligns with school policies and district rules.
• Coordinates with grade-level colleagues and participates in meetings.
• Supervises students in activities outside classroom and during transportation.
• Administers standardized tests as per district tests if certified.
