Job summary

Perry Township Schools is seeking a dedicated elementary teacher to support student growth and achievement from January through May. The role involves delivering district-approved curriculum, recording grades, managing classroom behavior, and communicating progress to families and administrators.

Qualifications

Knowledge of data information systems and data analysis.
Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy.
Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

Administers school elementary curriculum consistent with district goals and objectives.
Responsible for grading and entering grades into the system.
Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning.
Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and translates lesson plans into learning experiences.
Organizes and maintains a system for accurate record-keeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievement and attendance.
