Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking dedicated teachers to ensure students master academic and social skills while embodying IDEA values. You will plan and deliver rigorous instruction, analyze data to improve outcomes, and contribute to a culture that supports college readiness.

The role requires leading classrooms across core subjects, collaborating with families, and dedicating substantial weekly hours to foster student growth and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four‑year educational institution (required).
• High level of content‑area proficiency evidenced by teaching certification or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula and assessments.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Track each student’s progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
• Communicate students’ progress with students and families weekly.
• Establish and maintain a positive, productive classroom environment.
• Host tutoring sessions after school or on Saturdays as needed.
